This is a page for a family history fabric book I am working on. Photo of my great, great grandparents on a vintage crazy quilt with added embellishment and stitches. This was based on a mini quilt that that "Baumcat" created for me which made be fall in love with doing hand stitches and crazy quilts. Make sure you visit her blog(see link to the left).

My sister Kel want to know why I haven't had anything on my blog! I promised I would put something on here this weekend. So now I have. This is for a Fabric Book Round Robin, that begins April 1, 2007. In may I will be doing another mermaid book for different Round Robin.

I have had some spring fever! Planted 9 trees today: pines, fruit and others. I also hosted my first fabric book art party. I am starting a fabric book club that meets the 2nd Sunday of each month, here in St Marys, Ohio. I wish you all could come and play.

This it my Quiltie for my Febuary Fabric in Art Group

This is my first fabric postcard and my first time at free motion machine stitching. I have been wanting a new sewing machine and not having the cash on hand has allowed me to change my mind several times about which machine I must have. So last week I decided instead of spending $4,000 in the Brenina that I wanted I would invest $30 in my Kenmore and get a free motion foot. I was presently surprised to find out how easy it was and how nicely it worked. Last week I was home sick and discovered day time TV. I saw quilting show and they said to use a small amount of fabric glue to hold the fabric pieces in place. This worked great too.
Well today I am home from work because of blizzard so I am off to make some more postcards too bad I didn’t start earlier so send them this year.

This little Art Quilt Shrine and Art Quilt is being offered on Ebay this week. I love the purple with the silver frame and the soft colors of the Art Quilt it just looks so innocent. I like experimenting with the different stitches. Next week I start my first Joggles class, Personal Library of Stitches with Sharon Boggon, so watch for more stitches…………..

This pass week we also bought a felting machine an Baby Lock Embellisher. So my daughter Kimberlyn hasn’t let me spent much time on it, but she is having a ball.
